Objetivo

Is a 2-day instructor-led course that provides participants with advanced level understanding of the modeling recommendations, as provided in the Cognos 8 BI Metadata Modeling Part 1 course.

Participants will review the modeling recommendations for modeling both transactional and dimensional metadata for predictable results, and identify the generated SQL for data source and model query subjects.

They will also identify techniques for optimizing and tuning models for performance, modeling for effective drill-through, implementing advanced parameterization, and for managing projects.
